Pinard Speaks about Native Code Talker Day at Powwow

Photographer Amy Morris from Indian Country Today Media Network published stunning images from the 7th Annual Cherokee County Indian Festival and Mother’s Day Pow Wow in Canton, GA. At the powwow, she also snapped an image of Larry “Thunder” Pinard (Navajo/Diné Nation) speaking about the need for a National Code Talkers Day.

Pinard has been a part of our Native Code Talkers Day campaign since he first helped Niles Aserat at the Indian Education Powwow in October 2015 held in Hermitage, TN.
